FÉLINE BY KATSARIS
I've been playing around with buying a domain name for months now, but I couldn't figure out what I wanted to name my blog. I really wanted my last name to be incorporated in it somehow, but I just couldn't put my finger on what the rest would be. I even had a notebook filled with different possibilities. It wasn't until I was driving home from work one day where I put all of the pieces together. I'll try to walk you through the steps as I made these connections in my head.
As I said before I knew I wanted my last name. Katsaris is such a unique and proud family name. It's who I am and I'll never not be a Katsaris. Plus, it's a freaking cool name!
I thought about some of my favorite bloggers and what their names are and that led me to Sincerely Jules- ugh love her! I then started to think what are other words that I can use besides sincerely? Thankfully, from, kindly, signed, written, xoxo... by... by Katsaris.
Now the most difficult part was what was by Katsaris? I wanted something catchy and unique. Something that no one else had. I played with a ton of words but realized I liked the repetition of using cat or kat. Cat by Katsaris? Lame. Gato by Katsaris. Lame. Gata by Katsaris. LAME!
Then it hit me... Feline by Katsaris. No my blog is not about cats. It's a lifestyle blog surrounded about me... KATsaris.
For some reason I started thinking about that Beyonce album, you know the one that's in all black and says Beyoncé in pink with that accent over the 'e.' I loved that look and wanted to add an accent over the e in feline.
And there you have it folks, that's how I came up with the name. I realize it's confusing and chaotic but that's how my mind works sometimes.
Introducing Féline by Katsaris. Owned domain and everything.
I absolutely love the name and the way it's all put together. I hope you like it too.
