For some reason I never got to meet the Disney characters that walk around the park, they just were never around. This time though, I got to meet not one but TWO Disney princesses! We even saw like three different parades throughout the day. That was awesome. It was really fun just feeling like a little kid again and being able to enjoy Disney like my ten-year-old self would. The rides were also a blast! I forgot how awesome Space Mountain was! Seriously, best ride in the whole park hands down. There were so many interactive parts of the park too. One of my favorites was The Pirates of The Caribbean. Omar and I went around the park finding Blackbeard's treasure. It was so cute to see him get all excited with each new clue. We also got to walk through Cinderella's castle and it was so gorgeous and detailed. The best part was the fireworks at the end of the night. We went on July 3rd to avoid the 4th of July rush. They highlighted Cinderella's castle with red, white, and blue and played some very patriotic music as the fireworks went off. It was a great way to bring in the 4th!
As I've said before, you definitely want to plan your trip out before you go. Make sure you budget yourself and know how much it will be before you go to the parks. You can also find great packages that include not only Magic Kingdom but the other parks too! Wear comfy clothes and shoes. It was super hot the day we went with no rain to cool things off. Also, know the hours of the park that day. Magic Kingdom was open late that day because of the holiday. Definitely read up on what you're allowed to bring into the parks. If we would have known we were allowed to bring a cooler we could have saved a lot of money on food and drinks! As long as you plan your day out you will enjoy it more!
