I found this white sweater dress at Saver's my favorite thrift store back home. Because of COVID the fitting rooms are close though so you really have to eyeball it to guess if it will fit you properly. The thing is, I wasn't sure if this was supposed to be a dress or was it just a long sweater but because it was a bigger size it was extra long on me. There's actually not size tag on it so I really wasn't sure. Since it was so cheap though I decided to give it a chance because it's rare you find a white sweater dress at the thrift store. Tan or black, sure yeah all the time, but white? Almost, never. Ana was actually the first one to wear this when we took some maternity pics for her at the lake and since we're the same size I got a good guess on how it would fit me too. It hung off her shoulders but the length was perfect. So when I put it on I knew that it would hang off my shoulders but that the length would be great. As a 4'11 gal, sometimes things don't always fit the way the "should fit" so I was pleased when it not only went past my butt, but it was super flattering despite it being extremely oversized. This piece is great for a cozy night in or to spice it up a bit with some fun accessories which is exactly what I did here.
I highly suggest pairing some tights or stockings with a long sweater dress, it makes these types of outfits look so much better and perfect for the fall and winter time. Then I paired it with my favorite booties from Amazon and this pair of socks that Hot Sox Co. sent me which is the NYC subway map. I love being able to push these socks down and bring them up to show the pattern. It's then like two different outfits!! I then added a TON of accessories to dress it up a bit! Let's start with my hair. I have never done a hair style like this but when I tried it, I freaking loved it. I used these pearl hair clips (that I found at the dollar store)–one one each side of my head. Then I paired it with my pearl "Gucci" earrings. These two pieces complimented one another so well and really balanced out the white. I also layered my bracelets and necklaces wearing duo-tones silver and gold.
The reason I love this look so much is because even though it's completely out of my comfort zone I felt so confident in it! I was able to pull together some of my favorite accessories surrounding this one sweater!

Following up to the "gifts for her" post (click here to read that post) I'm sharing my gifts for him gift guide today. This is probably my favorite version of this list to date because there are some really cool items on here!
I started this trend of sharing my quarantine in snapshots back in March. Basically I save all of my snapchats and Instagram stories and compile them into one video. I have loved doing this because then I get to look back at this time of my life and see what all I did throughout these days. Since "quarantine" seems to never be ending, I'm going to start sharing my seasons in snapshots. Enjoy my fall in snapshots š.

Even the fluffy butts need a Christmas gift under the tree. Oliver actually rips the wrapping paper and sticks his whole head in his stocking looking for his new treats and toys. I love when he does that and how excited he gets for Christmas–just like me! So today I'm sharing my favorite pets for pups and their owners!

A yearly post that I do is the gifts for her/him which are just a great little way to pick some of the top products that typically men and women would like and/or want. I always list things that I know I would want and when I write the gifts for him post I think of things I know my boyfriend would like. So today I'm sharing some gifts that the lucky gal in your life would enjoy!

A couple weekend ago my boyfriend spoiled me by taking me to Target to get some upgraded holiday decor for our apartment. We may have gone a little overboard, but it was totally worth it. I'm sharing not only my favorite pieces that we picked up, but some other items I thought were v cute in hopes you can still snag them yourselves š.

I love shopping. Better yet, I love shopping for other people. I love giving gifts and seeing an item and just going "Ah, they will love this." Which means I love Christmas shopping. It's actually one of my favorite things to do. Black Friday is always so much fun and I even love creating the perfect gifts for people I love. However, holiday shopping can get pricey, especially if you're not budgeting or shopping the sales. So, today I'm sharing how I budget and save money during the holiday season.
Whenever I start to feel overwhelmed there are certain tasks or activities that I know will calm me down in an instant. Especially since being more open about my anxiety, I have learned to focus on what makes me feel good and to do those activities more often. A concept, I know. I wanted to share those activities with you today for you to try the next time you feel a little overwhelmed and need some calming down.
1. Go For A Walk–Sound too easy? That's because it is. I am working from home and living my life in my apartment that sometimes I forget what outside feels like. Walking Oliver twice a day forces me to go outside, even when it's a little chilly, it's still totally worth it to get some fresh air and sunlight.
2. Journal–I can't talk enough about how much journaling has helped me as a person. Being about to journal and get things out my head is so calming and because I'm naturally a creative person I love getting lost in creating a spread. It just puts me in the best mood.
3. Stretching–I don't mean exercising to get fit (though if that works for you–great). I mean listening to your body and stretch every muscle. Use a back roller to get the spots with the most tension. When you're done you'll feel lose and ready to tackle the day.
4. Bubble Bath–Ooooh I talk about how self-care is not just a bubble bath–it's true it's not–but I love a good bubble bath after a long day. Bubbles, bath salts, essential oils, face mask, a candle and your favorite tv show on Netflix. Wow, what a vibe.
5. Read A Book–I prefer fiction books (mainly because it's a world you can simply get lost in) but if you like non-fiction or motivational that's cool too. Get lost in a good story and just enjoy it rather than making it feel like a chore.
