The day is finally here, I'm 21!!! Although I definitely don't look my age, it's still nice to have no more restrictions because of my age. I still get carded just about every where I go, but that's a small price to pay to see the look on people's faces when I show them my ID, ha! For my birthday dinner I went out to eat with my family and my best friends. After dinner, my best friends and I went bar hopping around town. I had such a great time and although I have been a legal adult for a few years now, it was a new level of freedom tonight.
My best friend, Rocio, who's birthday is actually 5 days after mine, made me a birthday cake and had the waiters bring it out to me. It was a heart shaped birthday cake (funfetti- my fav!) and yes, birthday is totally spelt wrong. Just makes me love the cake even more!
We also face timed by guy best friend, Gabe, who's stationed in North Carolina. He face timed us while we were bar hopping.
Overall, my birthday was great. I loved the people I spent it with, I loved the night, and the festivities aren't even over!
