Have you ever wondered what came up when you Google yourself? Well, I've googled myself once or twice, or maybe a few more times. However, since I have started building my online portfolio a bit more lately I wondered what showed up when I googled 'Michele Katsaris." This is what I got . . . Hello Lovies!
I know that this may not be a big deal to most people, but it really hit me today that I'm not the only one who reads my blog! My blog has officially over 1,000 views as of today. Well, 1,238 views but who's counting? There is something that Carly Heitlinger said during the Bloggers Panel at TVFU last weekend. "It doesn't matter if you have one person looking at your page or one hundred, what matters is that you love what you're doing and you're doing it for you." This resonated with me because that is how I feel at this moment. I love that people are following up with my life and it makes me happy that my voice is getting put out there. I will continue to grow as a blogger from this because of my viewers. It may not be a huge accomplishment but it's something small that deserves recognition. For those of you who do follow, please just keep up with me and send me info on what you want me to talk about, advice, comments, etc. I'm here for you guys as much as you're here for me. I guess I truly just want to say thank you. Thank you so much for keeping up with me and making this small accomplishment possible.

Class Is Officially In Session!
I was extremely lucky to have been accepted to attend the Fashion University hosted by Teen Vogue. I got accepted to the Editorial/PR & Social side of the university and I had such an amazing experience. Not only did I get to meet the editors of Teen Vogue (including Amy Astley, EIC), but I got to meet some amazing people in the industry such as Claiborne Swanson Frank, Hannah Bronfman, and Carly Heitlinger! I mingled with some of the most important people in the industry, passed out my resume, collected business cards, took a lot of notes, and of course did a little shopping. All of the editors and guest speakers were so awesome to talk to. They were all humble and down to earth. They made you feel important when you were having your one on one time with them. This opportunity was remarkable and I definitely learned a lot. I want to attend TVFU every year!

Hello Lovies!
I am coming to you today from New York City Baby! I am officially settled in for the Teen Vogue Fashion University. It starts off with the exclusive kick off party tonight hosted by Express in Times Square. I am super excited to be in the city, I just feel like I belong here. Everything about New York draws you in, between the lights, the people, the noise- all of it. I haven't done much yet, except walk around and shop and eat at some bomb restaurants. Tonight is my first event and tomorrow I will be attending classes all day and graduate from FashionU on Sunday. Stayed tuned for more updates on my weekend!
