December in North Carolina

I love winter time. It's got Christmas, my birthday, and Oliver's birthday! Plus there is always so much snow, especially in Virginia. However, this year I am spending most of my winter time in North Carolina. Although I miss home like crazy, I defintely don't miss freezing my toes off walking to my car. It's slowly but surely getting cooler down here and Oliver is loving every minute of it. Me on the other hand, not so much. I can't complain though, because it's officially December 10th here in NC and it's the first time I've had to put my heat on. Not too shabby though since usually the heat goes on in September back at home.

With the nice weather and all that means that I can dress festive without wearing a winter coat to cover my super cute outfit. I get to wear boots and sweaters and all things that sparkle and make my outfit stand out from the rest. I always love combining different pieces from my closet and creating a new look. For this look I paired a pair of black jeggings with tall black boots. A blue button up with a fabulous gold sparkle collar undereath a white knit sweater. The rolled sleeves show off my rose gold watch and ring beautifully!

This look is great if you've got a holiday party coming up and want to stay warm and comfortable! The collared look is also perfect for getting some headshots in (hello updated Linkden pic). The gold sparkles beautifully and just gives flare to my look. I absolutely love it! It is all about the details after all.
