One. Perfume // A really nice perfume is something that we don't tend to spend money on since we can stick to our $6 body spray from bath & body works. However, there are some really nice Kate Spade or Elizabeth James perfumes that would make a perfect Christmas gift.
Two. Personalized Jewelry // I have learned a few things from my day's at Jared's and I can tell you right now, it is not about the money you spend, some of the most expensive jewerly is ugly. Stay away from heart shaped stuff too, unless your girlfriend points out a specific piece she likes. Your best bet is to get something personalized. I would totally rock a neckalce with my boo's name on it. Coordinate necklaces are also super meaningful and fashionable. You don't need to buy an expensive diamonds to impress your girl, trust me.
Three. Undies // I put this down for guys too, but girls love undies! Bralettes, Calivin Klein, hell even sports bras are such a great way to a girls heart. Plus, you get to see them in it. It's a win-win.
Four. Leggings // I mean, do I really need to say more? What girl doesn't love leggings.
Five. Purses // This can be a bit tricky and you defintely have to know someone's style to get them this, but a great gift is a new purse. Kate Spade is defintely the way to go, but they have really nice ones at H&M and Forever 21 too.
Six. Shoes // Jumping off of the purse idea, shoes are a great way to go. You just need to make sure you know her shoe size and her style. Omar knows the way to my heart is with a pair of 4.5 (yeah, I have small feet) Vans.
Seven. Polaroid Camera // Not only is this super trendy nowadays, but it can be a super romantic gesture. It's a great way to let her know that you are okay with her taking a billion pictures on your adventures that you take together and now she can get a hard copy polaroid versus just another picture on her phone. It's a great gift for any girl!
Eight. Sweaters // I would prefer a sweater or hoodie over a tshirt any day. You could get her a sweater that shows off her school pride or maybe even her favorite sports team. If you are in the military get her a sweater of your branch on it, you may not like it, but she will LOVE it.
Nine. Romantic Adventure // Now, I don't think that the holidays are a time when you should spoil your significant other. It should be year round. However, you can make this count as a Christmas gift if you plan some sort of event. Every year one of my Christmas gifts are tickets to the Redskins vs. Eagles game (Hail to the Redskins), but Omar is in Japan this year so I had to catch it on cable. It is still one of my favorite gifts that I recieve though and it's become a tradition now!
Ten. Chocolate // One word.... GODIVA.
Any other ideas you want me to add to the list?
xoxo, Michele
