Saturday: Concert Outfit
I was looking for the most perfect outfit to wear to this
concert, because I was meeting my freaking idol! I had to look good. So my mom
and I went to the mall and originally I was looking for a two-piece or romper
situation but I was striking out. I couldn’t find anything I liked. Then as we passed
a store my mom saw this jumpsuit and I never bothered with jumpsuits because
I’m 4’11 and things like jumpsuits and long dresses just don’t work for me.
They’re always too long. We found this jumpsuit at Express and I decided to try
the XS because why not? This outfit fit me like a glove. I don’t think I’ve
ever had one whole outfit fit me perfectly because of how short I am. Even
without heels the pants part wasn’t too long at all. Then with heels it was
even more perfect. This jumpsuit wasn’t cheap by any means, but if you’re a
short gal like me, it’s definitely worth it. I can dress up or down this outfit
and the fabric is that perfect fabric that’s heavy enough without being too
hot. It just fit so perfectly and I am so glad I invested in it. I originally
wanted the tan version of these shoes, but I couldn’t find any my size and when
I was in Target I found these blush pink heels that looked so good with the
outfit. I even got super lucky and found the same colored belt by the same
brand from Target. I didn’t get to wear it to the actual concert because I
needed to punch an extra hole in it because it was a little too big for me, but
we didn’t have time so I gave up on the belt. However, it still looks good with
or without the belt. I decided to keep the jewelry simple with my gold
nameplate Michele necklace, because obviously I was meeting Lea MICHELE, so I
had to. I wore my gold Gucci and gold Cartier bangles and my white Chanel
purse. I am obsessed with this outfit
and I am so happy my mom helped me find this outfit.
Sunday: Exploring The
City
After we checked out from out hotel on Sunday, we wanted to
explore Pittsburgh before heading back home. Neither of us had really spent any
time in the city so this was our chance. The weather was way nicer in Pennsylvania than Virginia that weekend so I wanted to take advantage of it and
wear something cute. I got this full outfit (minus the shoes) from Forever 21.
I purchased this red skirt back in February before our New York trip and it has
total Blair Waldorf vibes. I paired it with this black body suit from Forever
21 that I bought about a month ago 20 minutes before the store was closing. I love
this body suit because it fits so perfectly and can be paired with literally
anything. These boots are from DSW and they are the most comfortable pair of
booties I have ever owned. I paired this outfit with my gold nameplate Michele
necklace and a choker from Forever 21. I also wore my gold Coordinate ring with
my Kendra Scott bracelet and gold Gucci bangle. The purse I carried that day is
my tan Gucci SoHo bag. I loved this outfit too because not only was it super
cute and chic it was also very comfy and was easy to explore the city in.
