I can't believe December is over! I know people say this all the time, but this year literally flew by. I remember earlier this year moving into our new apartment and now we're taking down the Christmas tree! It's just crazy. I have tons of new favorite items that I have gravitated towards this month and I'm sharing them with you today!

It's kind of nice having your goals posted on the Internet for all of the world to see. It makes you stick to your guns a bit more knowing that not only are you but also your readers are going to be clicking back to this to see if you succeeded. I did pretty good on my goals last year, but it's time to kick it up a notch. Some of these are the same, but some a little bit different.

What are some of your goals for the new year?

I loved doing this post last year. It's so fun to look back at everything you document not just on a blog but on social media in general. I did a recap of some of my favorite blog posts from 2017 and I'm definitely doing it again this year. Here are some of my favorite highlights of 2018!



One. Dilly, Dilly! I am NOT an Eagles fan, but this trip was so much fun. Plus, Omar and I had never been so it was a great weekend trip in a new city.



Two. Oliver's 2nd Birthday. This might always be one of my favorite post, but Oliver's birthday is my birthday, so obviously it's in my top 12.



Three. I always love writing about my trips to NYC. No two blog post are ever alike. This trip was especially fun because it was for mine and Rocio's birthday this year. Who could ever not love New York?


Four. The Ugly Photoshoot Location Challenge!!! This post was so much fun. Not only did the pictures come out great, but Danya & I just had a day of laughter. Wow! I forgot how fun this post was.



Five. We moved into our own apartment! I can't believe we'll have been in our apartment for a year in March. The time literally flew by. This moving vlog was kind of a pain to make, but it opened me up to new platforms on my blog.



Six. You know I HAD to include this blog post.. I KISSED THE STANLEY CUP! The Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup this year and if you're a hockey fan than prepare to be jealous of this blog post.



Seven. I had to squeeze one more New York trip in before the year ended. I love going to the city with my mom. There's something about showing my mom around the city but also having her by my side as I take control of the itinerary. We also had THE BEST ice cream either of us have ever had this trip!!



Eight. LMDC TOUR! GUYS I FREAKING MET LEA MICHELE!!! All my dreams came true this weekend in Pittsburgh, PA! *insert eye heart emoji* This weekend was so much fun it turned into a three part blog post.


Nine. Back to my NYC trip, I did a photo shoot with an actual photographer in the city. It was honestly a great experience and I loved how the pictures turned out. I also crossed something off of my bucket list and went to the Museum of Ice Cream Pop-Up Shop! I still swoon over these images because honestly, I can't believe that's me!



Ten. How could I not include my collab with Gabe's? This has been by far the best year for collabs and sponsored post. This one just made my heart melt and honestly, I can't wait to see what 2019 has in store for me.

Eleven. Halloween was one of the best parties of 2018. It was just one of those nights where everything was just.. well.. fun. Plus, I won the costume contest so there's that. JIGSAW FOR LIFE!



Twelve. Ten Days in Orlando, Florida. This blog post was a monster to put together, but it was well worth it. Omar and I went to Orlando for TEN DAYS! We did all the parks, beaches and shops. Such a great trip and a great way to end the year.


Can't wait to see what 2019 has in store for me! Happy New Year everybody!

Merry Christmas everybody! If you've been following along I did this post last year and it actually got a lot of views. As I said last year, more than anything this is a haul. I was gifted some amazing products, including some things I didn't even know existed and I want to share it with you today. I am always so blessed to have such a large family and amazing group of friends to spend the holidays with. I feel like I have to add this disclaimer that this is not a "bragging" post and I am genuinely grateful for everything that I got for Christmas. Two things I got Omar for Christmas that we're also like gifts for me was Game of Thrones Monopoly and an R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid! Like I said, I am so so so grateful with everything I got for Christmas. I love everything and my family and friends seriously spoil me. Happy holidays everyone, until next year. 

It's literally the most wonderful time of the year again. One of my favorite traditions has been our secret Santa party. All of my friends get together to exchange secret Santa gifts, but we also just have such a fun party. It gets better and better each year and it's something I look forward to. I'm sure everyone has their own holiday parties that they look forward to and you've probably started to pick up some holiday decor and fashion pieces by now. I have a love hate shopping relationship when buying gifts for my best friend. I actually love shopping for my boyfriend. Okay, but let's be honest, I just love to shop. My favorite feeling is knowing that I found a really unique item that he's never heard of but I know he'll love. It does get a little tricky though, trying to get more creative and sneaky especially when you live with your significant other. Is it just me or does it get harder and harder to shop for you parents each year? The older you get and the more you start to work and make money the harder it is to find the right gift for your parent. It's no secret that I love my dog.  I treat Oliver as if he's a child of my own. It's grossly adorable. Like a child though, he needed some serious training. Do you train children? Oh well, Oliver needed some training!! He's so lovable and is way more chill than most huskies, but there were some things he needed instruction on that we just didn't know how to provide to him. Enter Brianna. We met Brianna through our friend Maria and right away we hit it off. She was incredibly easy to work with and I'm not even exaggerating when I say she is completely affordable! My mouth hits the floor every time she sends us an invoice because to get a personal dog trainer, who is so flexible and comes to your own home is normally a ridiculous price, but Brianna honestly loves what she does and wants to share her knowledge more than making a quick buck. Happy holiday season everyone! I have been crazy busy with decorating the house, Christmas shopping, hanging out with friends and family and our soccer team made it to the semi-finals! It's definitely been a whirl wind of the last few weeks, but that doesn't stop me from finding some fun reads online. Here's another round of Links I Love.

My dad is the KING of stockings and always puts the funniest things in there like lottery tickets or special types of candy. It's also a great place to throw in a gift card.
