It's been a few days since Disney Plus was released. Whether you bought the streaming service right away or started a free trail, just about everyone has started to stream Disney+. For those of you who haven't yet, I'm breaking down my experience with the streaming service so far.
Accessibility
Just like every other good streaming platform, you can access Disney Plus from any and all devices. I have it on my phone, Apple TV and the Xbox. It's very accessible, but I have noticed that my phone (because it's running off of phone service versus WiFi) took longer to load, still Netflix doesn't take that long.
Original Movies & Shows
I might have totally missed the memo, but when I saw that new shows and movies were coming to Disney Plus and that Disney Plus was going to be released on November 12, I thought that meant everything that they had been advertising would be released on November 12!! All of the Marvel movies such as Loki, Wanda Vision, and others like Monsters at Work, Lizzie McGuire, etc., would all be released that day.. nope. I also thought they would release tv shows seasons at a time like Netflix or Hulu... again.. nope. They're releasing original television show episodes week by week. Since I have a marketing background I appreciate this tactic because they never said this would all be released on one day.. but as a customer I was annoyed. Again, I totally might have missed something, but I seriously thought I was going to be able to binge watch, but sadly, I was not.
Price
The price for this streaming service isn't bad at all. It's $7 a month for just Disney+ or $13 a month for Hulu + ESPN + Dinsey+. It's a great deal, it's totally affordable and you have access to all of your favorite Disney classics.
Overall Thoughts
I definitely think that Disney Plus is a cool streaming service and you can watch all of your Disney favorites in one place. I do like the original television shows that are rolling out, I would just prefer to binge watch them season by season. I am a huge Disney gal, but all this anticipation built up to this moment has been anticlimactic in my opinion. I would suggest you either do the free week trail to see how you like it or even wait a month or two before committing. From what I can see, Disney movies are still on Netflix, so you'd really only be buying it for the originals and the classics that aren't on Netflix. I'm not thrilled about the chain reaction this has started of other companies creating their own streaming services. I would say maybe once everything is pulled from Netflix or Hulu is the time to commit to Disney Plus. Until then, save your money.

Thank you so much! That means so much to me! I worked with a designer I found on Etsy to create it and she tweaked it to get it exactly how I like it.
