No time like the present to boost up your immune system. One of my favorite things to get from the store and even sometimes restaurants is the little immune booster shots. Filled with tons of vitamins and antioxidants that are just good for the body and the soul. The downside? They can sometimes be a bit pricey. So I decided to make my own at home. I looked up multiple recipes and they all pretty much have the same ingredients. There's a flexibility with these type of things because you can really make it however you want.
If you're stuck in the house like I am and need to boost your immune system, most of these ingredients are most likely in your cabinets right now. I'm going to share what I've been making with you all today!
Ingriedents
Lemon Juice
Orange Juice
Fresh Squeeze Lemon
Garlic
Turmeric
Honey
Cayenne Pepper
Apple Cider Vinegar
Instructions
1. The first step is to mix the honey with hot water and add turmeric powder
2. Next mix all the other ingredients in a bowl, play with the taste, I ended up adding more orange juice and honey to my mixture to overpower the other ingredients. All you need is a tablespoon of each of the peppers, vinegar and garlic.
3. The mix the honey and turmeric into the rest of the ingredients and whisk it all together.
4. Taste as you mix, add more juice and honey as needed. I also suggest using garlic powder instead of minced garlic. Something about having chunks in the shots makes it not look so good.
5. Enjoy!
The shot wasn't bad at all. It tasted more like orange juice than anything else, like I said, because I added more juice. It's so simple and easy to make.
