I've shared before that I partner with a program called "Heartbeat" that connects me to brands who would like me to review and post about their products. If you follow me on Instagram, then you know sometimes I really like the products and sometimes, even though they weren't my cup of tea, I still share them with you incase they're your cup. Other times I'm just advertising the latest and greatest Disney movie. It really just depends on the campaigns going on at the time. My favorite type of products to text out are skincare products though and when I received the package of Hello Body goodies, I knew right away I wanted to share more than just an IG post, I wanted to do a whole review about them!
In the package I received 3 full-size products, one from each line. Right away I was amazed by the packaging. The quality of the packaging always gets me because it's the representation of the product that's on the inside. The simplicity shows me that there are simple ingredients inside and this may sound odd, but the packaging is really soft! It's not just hard cheap plastic. From the Coco Line I got the Coco Glam Pink Body Scrub, from the Aloé Line I got the Aloé Sleep Hydrating Overnight Face Mask and from the Cara Line I got the Cara Relieve Anti-Irritation Face Toner.
Coco Glam Pink Body Scrub
Do not underestimate the "pink" in this title because this product is pink! I love a good body scrub and this body scrub may be a new favorite of mine. Not only was the color simply fun, but the coconut scent was divine. I'm not kidding when I say I wanted to eat this product. The sweetness and richness of this product reminded me of when I used to work at Godiva. It just smelt delicious! I really like the fact that Jojoba oil is an ingredient, because that's one of the best oils you can use on your skin.
Aloé Sleep Hydrating Overnight Face Mask
This product came just in time because I was running out of my Laniege Overnight Water Mask. I love putting on an overnight mask and using my facial roller to set it in my skin. It wasn't sticky like some overnight masks are and I didn't feel gross when I woke up the next morning, which are good signs when testing out new overnight products. I am just not the biggest aloé fan when it comes to skincare (unless I have a bad sunburn I need to take care of) so the scent wasn't something I was crazy about. However, this is perfect for the summer because my forehead always gets sunburned at least once a year so this is a great product to have on hand for those occasions.
Cara Relieve Anti-Irritation Face Toner
Another product with great timing! I just ran out of my Neutorgena Facial Toner and was happy to have a back up. The thing that really drew me to this product was the phrase "anti-irritation." I don't have super sensitive skin, but I really hate after a full skincare routine how sometimes my face will be so red and highlight my acne because of all the stuff I just put on top of it. I know in the a.m. it will look better, but I don't like to irritate my skin anymore than it already is. The "anti-irritation" part of this product was spot on. My face did not turn red after using it and it didn't highlight any problem areas. It just kind of did it's thing and after using it for a little I started to notice a difference in my skin overall. I will definitely be repurchasing this product again!

I can't be the only one who is ready for summer to be over. It just didn't feel like a real summer to me. I mean, I still had fun, went on vacation and got a good tan, but yeah I'm ready for the fall time. I am planning some exciting stuff for my future and I can't wait to share the news with all of you soon, so stay tuned!

With the new school year approaching, even though it'll be a little different this year, I wanted to round up some of my favorite stores that offer student discounts!

Hello from the Grand Canyon! I decided to make this part four because of all of the amazing photos we took. Be sure to click here to read parts one-three!
After we ate lunch in Sedona we headed to the Grand Canyon (can you believe I've never been?). It's only a two hour drive from Sedona so we went there to watch the sunset. Let me tell you, this was a beautiful moment that I will never forget. Yeah, it was cool don't get me wrong, but it was the pure stillness that I think everyone felt. We all had our own seating area and no on talked no one was too loud, we all just sat there and watch the beauty from this day. I even finished my book... reading while watching the sunset over the Grand Canyon...you really can't beat that vibe. It was a breathtaking moment that I'll never forget.
Our last day we checked out of the hotel and had breakfast at The Coffee Pot again. Yeah, the food was that good. Then we headed to Phoenix for the day while we waited for our red-eye flight at midnight. We pretty much just walked around, ate some food and did a little shopping. Before we headed to the airport we visited our other cousin's girlfriend, Yamili. You remember her from when I lived in AZ a few years back. My cousin sadly was not there, but we fixed that with a PhotoShop pic 😂😂. Before you knew it we were on our flight heading back home. This trip was soo different from my typical trips that I take. I have a Type A personality so having no plans and going with the flow was very different for me and yet it was one of my favorite trips yet. I love my cousin and her boyfriend is awesome and gets along with my boyfriend so well it was like there was two of them. Even my cousin and I were blurring into the same person (we literally would say the exact same thing at the same time everyday, it was getting freaky). Also, shout out to Stephanie and Travis for taking more photos than I did this trip! These blog posts wouldn't be possible without ya 🙃.

Hello from Sedona, Arizona! After an almost eight hour drive we have finally made it to Arizona. This is one of the final stops of our road trip (minus a day trip to the Grand Canyon and Phoenix) but nonetheless, Sedona is the final stop for us. Be sure to read part one and part two by clicking the links.
On the next day in the morning we had breakfast at this place called The Coffee Pot and it was BANGING! Then we went to Grasshopper Point which is basically a water hole surrounded by rocks. The vibe was so chill with a lot of people our age so people were sharing drinks, making friends and just chilling. After this two-mile hike we hit up this little "old town" in Sedona for some shopping and dinner.
On the third day we did a lot! In the morning we went another water hole called Slide Rock and it's called Slide Rock for a reason, you literally get to slide down the rocks. Even though there were a lot of families and kids, I still liked this watering hole better because it was more spacious and in the sun. So you'd sit out for a bit and then dip your toes in the freezing cold water. We started to get hungry around 1ish which was just in time because a thunderstorm came rolling in and we had some awesome Mexican food back at that shopping center. After we ate we headed towards the Grand Canyon, but you'll have to stay tuned for that post 😉.
Stay tuned for the fourth and final part of this road trip!
xoxo, Michele
