Pants (Similar) | Heels | Bracelet
Ah, this outfit is so inspired because I have two thrifted pieces on me. Could you even tell? I found these pair of Anne Klein work pants/leggings–which are my favorite type of work pants– and this off-the-shoulder Top Shop shirt. It is super flowy, looks super cute and fit well! This outfit shows you can get a stylish work or happy hour look from the thrift store.
So let's start with these pants. If you work in an office or a place that has to dress business casual then you know the work pants/leggings are gold. They are the best invention of the 21st century and not only do they look good with any type of top but they are comfortable. In my last thrifted blog post I shared that its hard to find pants that fit perfectly, but these Anne Klein pants fit like a glove. I also love that in the waist band the. . .well the band is still there and so they're not falling off of me every time I move around. Besides just needing to clean them when I got home, these $4 pants was like finding gold.
The top!! Another great steal for only $6 was this Top Shop blouse/shirt. I'm not sure what you call it, but its an off-the-shoulder shirt that again fit me so well. Especially since I couldn't try it on (dressing rooms were closed) so I really had to just go for it. I then paired this outfit with some chunky jewelry and these low-heeled heels from Express for a dressy, but a "I'm not trying too hard" look. When I put all of these pieces together I felt like I was a boss ass bitch. Of course I work at a religious non-profit so I could never actually get away with this shirt, but when I'm hustling in NYC one day this is the ideal look.
Whether you're heading into the office, or heading to happy hour, you can still thrift a fabulous lookšø.
xoxo, Michele
