A couple weeks ago I had my very first meal from PLNT Burger!! I had never tried this place—or even ever heard of it—but for a dinner date one night, my boyfriend suggested this place and he's not a vegetarian so this meant a lot to me ❤️.
To start off, I have to tell you what we ordered. I ordered the Spicy Chik N Funguy Sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the PLNT Cheeseburger. We also got an order of fries and an order of the bloomies (onion rings). Right away I was very impressed because the bag smelt divine! Even my boyfriend said the smell coming from the bag smelled like an actual burger.
So here's the thing, I actually hate mushrooms, but the "chicken sandwich" is made with crispy fried oyster mushroom stems. I was very nervous, but the sauces and all of the ingredients combined made for a delicious bite. My boyfriend's PLNT Cheeseburger was made with Beyond Meat and the way they seasoned it—I swear it tasted like an actual burger. But what do I know? My boyfriend and I both agreed that this was a great meal and the fact that it was vegetarians was shocking. I will say that it was difficult to eat though! I would take one bite and everything would fall out of the sandwich. But besides the fact that it was messy, I have to give PLNT Burger a 10/10. Will be eating there again.
