Heading into the month of November and our family's annual Thanksgiving Beach Trip, Ana and I always plan out some photo shoot ideas. Her belly was a bit bigger now and we had a very beautiful background for photos: the beach.

Tips for beach maternity photo shoot: Get the sunset. The photos will naturally be beautiful because of the mom to be, but you want to get the sunset and ocean in the photos too. The background naturally brings out the beauty of the mom.

Tips for early maternity photo shoot: Keep photographing. Make the mom-to-be laugh and laugh some more. Don't be afraid to show off the little belly. Everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin, especially during this time, and even though we sat there laughing at tree vines most of the time (you had to be there), these simplistic photos turned out wonderful.

To start the series, we are going to go back to the early months of September, when we went on a weekend trip to the lake so we didn't have much to work with except well...nature. We had brought some clothes to take cute "baby bump" photos in but it seemed like nothing was working. That's when we combined this white on white outfit for a very chic look. This outfit definitely stole the show and Ana looked so "pregnant chic" we fell in love with these photos. Especially since she was still only a couple months pregnant, we had to get the angles just right to show off the bump.

Tips for early maternity photo shoot: Keep moving. The more Ana moved around, the more she laughed, the better the photo was. Even though she wasn't wearing any makeup she was glowing ✨. I have been itching for a trip to Disney lately and I don't know how my friends read my mind because I got all the Disney gear for my birthday this year. I'm not complaining because I've been rotating the clothing items I got since last week. Another thing I got for my birthday was the Steven Madden Howler Boots in the color Sand Suede (thanks Ro!) and these boots are everything and then some. I can't take them off, they literally go with everything and are so, so, so perfect for this season. 

I styled this outfit together on a whim and now I am obsessed with it. It's hip meets my childhood and it's vintage-chic. I couldn't help it, but this would be the perfect "winter time" outfit to wear in the parks. This Tigger sweater is from BoxLunch (thanks Gabe!), my faux-leather leggings are thrifted, my boots are Steve Madden, and my scrunchies and jewelry are from Forever 21!
