Since I came out with the rebrand, I wanted to dive a little deeper into the history of my blog and brand. I started my blog on a free Wix website back in 2012/2013. I was really looking for something after MySpace had disappeared and Facebook wasn’t cutting it. I wanted something more customizable and personal. 

This gift guide was an obvious one I had to make this year given that Mickey Mouse is my next-door neighbor. I love Disney—as most people do—and I have found some of the coolest and most unique items for you to give your Disney-obsessed person for Christmas this year.

During this mini break from blogging, I had to fill my time somehow. Because juggling multiple jobs, playing on a soccer team, hanging out with family and friends, having two pets, and volunteering at the animal shelter just left my calendar wide open 😅. 

A couple years ago for my birthday, I wrote this blog post: 27 Things I Like About Myself and it had some bittersweet responses. Sweet because it’s one of my most popular blog posts SEO-wise! Bitter because that means people are Googling the phrase “things I like about myself” and my post is what they’re finding. It makes me sad that people don’t know what they don’t like about themselves, but I hope that my blog post gave me solace and reassurance that it’s okay to love things about yourself because everyone is different and unique and deserves to have self-love and confidence ❤️️.

Raise your hand if you poorly planned for Christmas this year 🙋🏼‍♀️. I have a good reason though—I just moved to a whole different state and everything is in boxes and how is it already December!?  😅 

If you've been following me for a while then you know I've always loved Pokémon. But over the last year, I really dove head first back into the phenomenon that is Pokémon. 

Celebrating Christmas with my dog Oliver has always been one of my favorite things to do. He wears a Christmas sweater, gets to open all his presents (no seriously—he opens them himself 😅) and he gets to taste test all the new treats he gets. He even has his own stocking that we will with goodies 😍. 

One of my favorite things to do when I go on vacation is to buy a disposable film camera to capture some of the best moments of the trip on film. I don't know when I started doing this, but ever since then, it's been a constant thing on my to-pack list.

Now that I'm a homeowner (still so weird to say out loud) I wanted to share some of the latest home decor trends that I have been loving. Of course, this isn't going to be our forever home so I'm not going to be purchasing anything or decorating this way (well—maybe a little we'll see 😉). I took a much-needed but quite a long break from blogging earlier this year. I actually have only blogged about half the year so far, so there are a good six months of updates I’m missing. And since I treat my blog like my online diary—I definitely want to fill it in with what I’ve been up to these past six months.

It’s not that I did anything too crazy, it was mostly spent at home relaxing and hanging out with family. But I did go on some fun trips this summer and overall created memories that will forever be special to me.

Fall is my favorite time of the year and I love Disney at Halloween-time. All of the characters get spooky, the Mickey pumpkins come out and you can’t forget about the seasonal treats. Halloween is already such a fun holiday but to spend it in Disney, the most magical place on Earth, is quite the experience.

When it comes to creating content, I’ve taken a lot of stress off of me by not needing to look so “perfect” in photos and videos. Of course, I still want to look put together—or at least feel put together—but it's unnecessary for me to put on a full face of makeup every time I want to take a photo. That’s why I’ve curated the perfect “no makeup makeup look” for those days when I just want to look cute without spending a lot of time doing my makeup. 

I knew that one of my first posts coming back had to be about the Big Time Rush concert that I attended this summer. I received so many messages about this that I was honestly kind of surprised. BTR fans are loyal!!
