About a month ago Mama and Papa Katz came down to Central Florida to help us with the house and of course for a mini vay-cay too. This was also a great time to explore Central Florida and knock off some "want to do" things on my Florida list.
I almost don't even know where to start, we did so much! Let's start with the staple of Disney Springs. If you're looking for some shoppig and good eats, Disney Springs is a great place to go. They always have live entertainment, fun exhibits and unique places to eat. We went to the Coca-Cola store which has a "Bar" at the top floor. You can get flights of Coca-Cola products from around the world, unique floats and more. This is also where we experienced Coca-Cola Cold Brew for the first time and OH MY GOD! I have been trying to re-create this at home and I haven't quite figured it out, but I will. We also got to try Gideon's Bakehouse for the first time—except the cookie I selected wasn't in our order 😭 and I was the onen who wanted it the most!! Oh well, guess we'll have to go back.

One night my parent's and I went out to dinner and went put-putting. It was such a close game too we were all neck-in-neck but of course my dad won! My mom had two hole-in-ones though - what the heck! There are a lot of cool put-putting/mini golfing places and at this one you can feed alligators, which just screams Florida 😆.
One day we wanted to go kayaking and thanks to TikTok I had selected we went to Blue Springs State Park because there are manatees that hang out in the reserve during the cold season, except there were no mantatees! So defintely go earlier in the winter season if you want to see some mantatees. Regardless, it was still a beautiful day to go kayaking and we saw a freakin' gator in the water!

My mom and I went to work at the Orlando Cat Café one morninng. Okay, let's be honest we didn't get any work done 😅, the cats were too cute! This is a fun and affordable activity in Central Florida. You get to play with cats at a coffee shop for only $10—yes please! The best part is that all of these cats are adoptable. So if you fall in love with any of them you can actually adopt them! I almost took home the one-eyed kitten he was just so cute. I can't wait to go back!

Obviously we had to hit up a theme park and my dad specifically requested Universal Studios. There's not much else to say about this day because theme parks are so much fun. And we got so lucky that the best rides had short waits, we rode The Hulk twice in a row! My dad had a Duff Beer at Moe's, we rode the Hogwarts Express and just had so much fun. I can't wait to take them to the Disney Parks next time they come.
One of the last few days we went to Winter Park, which is one of my favorite parts of Central Florida. We went to some of the coolest shops I've ever been to including Gasp which is all over TikTok. Ugh, I wanted to buy everything. We ate lunch at Cocina 214 which was so good. It was the perfect bite before we walked up and down the strip. If you're looking for a great like old-town-esque vibes, I suggest Winter Park.
